Water-based surface treatment
In the last 15 years we have only worked with water-based paint and impregnation, which is not so common in Sweden. It works well, especially in combination with timber that is as good as ours. It’s also good for our personnel, and for you. No solvents evaporate from our windows, which buyers of vacuum impregnated windows can expect for up to six months after the window is installed.
Just like in all the other departments we have also worked to minimise wastage in the paint shop. There is no wastage at all from the impregnation system – because the impregnation circulates in the system. In the paint shop wastage is minimised because the paint is charged electronically so that it adheres to the wood during its application.
