The story of Svenska Fönster dates back to 1935 when Otto Pettersson founded what later became Traryd Fönster. A few years later, another small carpentry was established in Edsbyn, that after several years of expanding business, became SP Fönster.

Later on, the two well-known and reputable brands Traryd Fönster and SP Fönster joined forces as Svenska Fönster AB in 1997, intending to create a competitive and resourceful player in the Swedish window market. In 2023, the brand Svenska Fönster was born.

Svenska Fönster is one of Sweden’s leading and most eco-friendly window manufacturers. We produce our windows in Hälsingland in the middle of Sweden. We mainly act in the Swedish market but have sister brands in other European markets. Our purchasing department is in Dovista, which consists of distinct brands with solid local roots in the European window market. Since 2000 we have been a part of VKR.

Sustainability is part of our DNA. We were the first company to live up to Scandinavia’s official eco-label requirements, the Nordic swan Ecolabel. Because every step in our production considers the environment, and our products meet the highest environmental requirements.

As your house is unique, you want your windows to be unique, right? We provide a wide range of windows for all house types and walls. We provide wood windows and aluminum-clad wooden windows of the highest quality, thanks to pine from the deep forests of Sweden. Our windows have a simple, elegant design, high functionality, and a long lifespan, and are virtually maintenance-free.

Our wood is hand picked, and the paint we use is water-based, which benefits both you and the environment. If you want your windows to be as unique as your house, you can design windows yourself. In our free Window Selector service, you can test different materials, colors, and designs and see your new windows in an environment similar to your house.
